Abstract

The essay addresses a critical-reflective and propositional analysis on the pillars of UNESCO Education and which is the result of the debate at the Latin American Center for Studies in Pedagogical Epistemology with colleagues from 12 countries and contributions from a socialization workshop with 152 teachers from different educational levels in Cuba, the latter carried out in the Hybrid Mode Course developed on July 15, 2024 by the center. The text focuses its observations on the historical-geographical coincidence of this document: Education contains a treasure by Delors (1994) with the 7 knowledge of the education of the future by Morin (1999). The socio-educational evolution thirty years later is raised and how some proposals have been influencing the need for a fifth pillar of education, among which is one from the United Nations body itself for Education, Science and Culture; but without its appearance being generally aware by the teachers and researchers who cite it. Finally, a pillar is proposed that, in CESPE's opinion, harmoniously integrates the four initial pillars and impacts their validity and applicability in the educational ecosystems of the world. We intends learning how to share as a conciliatory and transcendent pillar.
