Project based learning. Its implementation in the Car Electrical Systems Subject

The main objective of the article is to systematize the theoretical-methodological foundations and the results of the application of project-based learning (ABP) as a didactic-methodological strategy in the subject automotive electrical systems that is taught in the "Rafael Vásconez Gómez" Educational Unit of Ecuador, to carry out the investigation, a mixed approach was used to integrate quantitative and qualitative reference methods and statistical methods for the processing of the data collected in terms of diagnosis, from which Difficulties were found in the teaching-learning process of the contents related to automotive electrical systems of the Electromechanical Professional Figure, for which the moments of generation of the project, the guides, the activities and the results were specified. Finally, it was possible to verify that with the application of the methodology adjusted to the particularities of the subject, the teaching-learning process was significantly improved in terms of the achievement of objectives, the appropriation of contents, the dynamics of the process, the leadership of the students, cooperative teamwork and relationships with teachers.
