Educational strategy for the formation of knowledge about doping in Physical Culture students

Doping is a global problem that has spread from high performance sport to the different manifestations of physical activity. Its treatment in the Degree in Physical Culture shows insufficiencies, in terms of the delivery of content related to this phenomenon to students, limiting their future professional performance regarding the confrontation with this scourge. In response to this problem, an educational strategy was developed that contributes to the formation of knowledge related to doping in students of said career at the University of Matanzas. In correspondence with this, this article aims to present the proposed educational strategy and the results achieved. The design used was experimental and theoretical and empirical methods were used. As a result, a strategy was proposed that was structured in three stages, with educational, investigative and extension actions. The results of the expert criteria and the experiment confirmed the validity of the applied strategy and the elevation of the level of knowledge of students and teachers.
