SOME PROBLEMS APPLYNG MATHEMATICS FOR TEACHING ELECTROMAGNETISM IN UNDERGRADUATED COURSES
Keywords:
electromagnetism, physics education, teaching electromagnetismAbstract
In physics, chemistry and engineering careers, the electromagnetism is an obligatory subject. Generally, this course has a high index of failure since students consider it as difficult due to the use of mathematical tools and the abstraction and complexity of the concepts.
In this article it will be discussed the problems that students have to handle mathematical tools in the analysis and solution of problems.
