The theoretic questions and answers about the mediating function of the tutor at the Cuban university are exposed as a result of bibliographic investigations and the author's own experience. They permit an approach to such an important function within the tutor's professional pedagogic performance particularly in the major Bachelors in Education Pedagogy – Psychology.
