Analysis: citizenship competitions in the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ)

The present article analyzes the incorporation of competitions for citizenship and democracy at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juarez (UACJ). We show the origin, the followed path for its incorporation, decisions, and the academics´ perceptions on the importance of these competitions. Also, we review the institution’s situation, the paradigm in which these are proposed, and the expectations towards them.
