The sociocultural context in the teaching-learning of the mother langue

The influence of the sociocultural context in the teaching-learning process of the mother langue emphasizes its function as an essential means of social communication and as expression of national identity; in this sence family in its fulfillment of the educative function together with the school orientation should contribute to round the formation of the individual who should be able to express himself adequatly according to nature of the different communicative functions. The role of the teacher is to explain and demonstrate to each family which activities they can do with their children in ader to teach them how to communicate so to say: to speak, lo listen, to read and to write.
