The analytical-textual/discourse competence: a permanent learning

This paper deals with the teaching of speech analysis. The main aim is to reflect on its role in the development of the analytical-textual/discourse competence in the students majoring as Bachelor in Education, specialized in Spanish language and literature. This research applies different methods of science, from the theoretical level: the historical-logical, the analytical-synthetical, the inductive-deductive, modelling and the system approach. From the empirical level: observation, documental analysis, survey and interview, closely related with the systematization of the experience. It made possible the definition of this competence and establishing its dimensions and indicators; as well as its verification in the practical application.
