Foundations of professional upgrading for improving professorial communicative competence in novel engineering instructors

The article discusses the philosophical, sociological, legal, linguo-communicative, psychological, pedagogical and didactic foundations supporting the need for professional upgrading actions aimed at improving professorial communicative competence in novel engineering instructors in Cuban universities. The role of professional upgrading as an special modality within the Cuban Graduate Education System is thoroughly assessed, mainly in terms of its ideal conditions for developing actions that may improve this vital communication quality for the socialization of the teaching, organizational and research knowledge of novel instructors performing within the area of Engineering Sciences.
